One remedy to try involves combining a teaspoon of sesame oil with a bit of garlic. Use an open flame to heat it up until it?s a bit warm. Then, lie down with the hurting ear pointed. Put four drops of the solution in the ear and let it set for 10 minutes. This can help to relieve ear pain.

Another possible remedy combines licorice and ghee, a type of clarified butter used in some Middle Eastern cuisine. You may have to visit an ethnic food store to find it. Warm the licorice in the ghee until it becomes a pasty blend. Apply this mix around your ear. The ear should feel better quickly.

For chronic earache problems, a more potent home remedy for ear pain may be needed. This one requires between four and five garlic cloves. Combine them with linseed oil and burn the garlic, storing the resulting solution in a bottle. Put some of this oil around the painful ear once in the morning and again in the evening. One of the more outlandish home remedies for an earache actually involves using human breast milk. This may be a good option for a new mother whose child has an earache. What you must do is combine some breast milk with a bottle gourd that?s been ground up into paste. Warm this combination up slightly and then apply to the ears. It?s known to be a really effective pain reliever.
